hi Hristo and All,

congrats and Thanks to Hristo for such a great forum script.

i have installed and customized seo board to suit my site. i have 2 queries which i am sure can be answered easily

i want to enable search forum option to even non-registered users. currently when a non register user clicks on search, they get a message to log in or register to use this feature. what is to be done to enable searching?

secondly could someone be kind enough to post a step by step tutorial to change forumX.htm to someX.htm and articleX.htm to soomeX.htm

i understand the .htacccess and skinning.php has to be changed, but those 2 files are too complicated for me to figure things out

thanks in advance

nimda, I wanted to encourage user registration and simplify the search function. It won't be too easy to change it so that guests can search. I think it is better now (more registered users).

As for the modrewrite support. Well it is rather simple. You need to change the code in these 2 functions: get_topic_url() and get_forum_url() + make the necessary changes in the htaccess file (change forum to xxxx etc.)
