Hristo, I updated the GMT value in the config file to accomodate the time change in the NYC area.
However, if I post a new topic or reply...the time is still an hour behind.
Is this a mySQL issue? (Do you use timestamp?) Or a web server issue?

Every user has a unique GMT value that is changed in his "preferences" screen. The GMT value from the config is the default for guest users and for newly created/registered users. Basically, when you made your account it got the old GMT settings.

Why don't you let every user take care of his daylight settings? That's one of the purposes of the "My Preferences" screen
