I love the ModRewrite!  Good job Hristo.

Now... I wonder if I can figure this out:

Let's say a topic's title is: Google's AdSense Works

Now... it would be cool if I could make the rewrite:

google-adsense-works.html

But I would have to keep writing to the .htaccess file, right?  Sounds slow and possible corruption may occur on a high volumne site.

Hmmm....

Checkout how wordpress does the modrewrite if you are interested in that feature. You don't need to constantly write in the .htaccess file.

Hristo... is:

google-friendly-url.html

... more "friendly" than:

google_friendly_url.html

???

The google-friendly-url.html url is better because search engines treat '-' as word separators, while '_' are not. However, the only measure-able advantage is when someone links to a post using the URL as anchor text. On your forum, posts are just for registered users, so you get no benefit. The keyword in the URL per se does not help (if it helps, it is such a low factor that is going to be outranked by anything else like just another keyword on-page).
