I've read a few posts (yes, I searched first) that said CAPTCHA was in the works, or possibly upcoming.

So, aside from being able to ban an IP is there any automated system of blacklisting or moderating posts?

Is CAPTCHA coming... soon?  Do you (Hristo) need further ideas on CAPTCHA implementations?  I know of several variations, JavaScript-based would be easiest to implement.  Not in a disable JavaScript and it fails kind of way either.  However, I ponder how long it will take to thwart that method.

However, it should be mentioned that several methods exist to decode CAPTCHA.

Although there are a few implementations that preport to be able to thwart the anti-CAPTCHA "bots."

Nothing is coming soon. I am finishing another project, then I am starting a complete rewrite of the whole script.

That's definitely a shame.  I was hoping to use it within an environment expected to receive substantial traffic, and with that amount of traffic surely comes lots of spam.

Why the rewrite by the way?  Not satisfied with existing code?

I've actually always admired your code, although I hate your indenting schema.  I would also get confused if I used your single-line-if-statements-get-no-brackets methodology.
