I installed clean version with no avatar and signature. Is it possible to install new version on old one?
Is it possible to just allow avatar and no signatures? It seems like it is just possible to enable/enable both at same time, but have to ask. |

The signatures and avatars come together. Too many people wanted them and I don't see a forum with just one of them. It is possible to upgrade the forum to the new version. It is also very easy I guess to modify the code to show just avatars or just signatures. __________________ Are you looking for an SEO Consultant?

Can you please tell me how i can upgrade, so i dont mess it up? As i can nothing about sql i'm afraid to do it. I dont want to use it atm, but if most users want it i will add it. (i like it clean, but anyway we need to make our users happy too ^^ as long as it's 'minor change like your solution on avatar and sigg)
Then they will get 70x70 avatar and max 100 on sigg length. Maby an idea to add instruction on upgrade on manual site? btw: Here in norway, our biggest newspaper on net have a forum. Many people there like to use it because of how simple it is. No pictures allowed and smilies, avatars. But it's possible with sigg. http://vg.transact.no/Group.asp Many 'nag' about possibility of images in post and avatar, but most dont want it and you can see they have ok with users anyway. Even when they have a system where you need to pay a smal fee by SMS vertification 2 times a year. Just wanted you to know. ps: maby it's best for you to search google for site and hit translate if possible. Then you might understand what it says ^^ |
