You should do what I did with my version and add a mod panel and the ability to have super moderators.

A lot of things can be added. When I need sth, I just do it with a bit of code. That was the original idea. To have the board simple to modify on a code level.

Make the thing user friendly and I will post it in the downloads section with a disclaimer that I won't do support for its code.
