The Forum installed fine with no errors but it does not work. I have looked around this board and still have not figured it out, dumb me.

I went to the admin panel add clicked on add Forum.

What I have there is.

Add Forum
Edit Forum
Delete Forum
Change Forum Ordering
Recount Topics and Replies Statistics

I clicked on Add Forum.

I have 4 things there:
Parent category
Forum name
Forum Description.

And the button with add forum.

The drop down menu from parent category has an option:create a category that can't be modified, there is nothing else there/

So I fill in the forum name , add a forum description
and I click on the Add forum.

Message is:Forum Added Successfully

Ok so I go on to see my forum, surprise, can't create topics, no butons for new topics.

So I read around here a bit then I say I must add a a forum and a category also.

So my only option is the edit forum option.
Now I see that on the forum category option when I click on the drop down menu, besides the first option "create a category" I get my forum name.

So I select the forum name and message is: Forum cannot be a parent of itself!

I can't start topics, how does this work, I tried everything, changing the forum name, how do I add a forum and how do I add a category? or maybe my board is broken?

You have created a forum category(like SEO-Board and General on this board - the black background ones). First level forums are categories and you cannot post topics in them. Create a forum whose parent is the category you have created.

I solved it.

Thanks anyway.
